You remember dying. In fact, you remember the exact feeling and fear of how you died, and yet in the next moment, you're suddenly standing in a cold room. You're not sure how you got here at all, but it's as if you were suddenly put here the moment after you died. As you look around, the first thing you'll notice is that you're standing in front of an open casket. And you're inside. The corpse inside the casket is definitely you, and it's also definitely dead, which certainly makes this confusing. Luckily, here's someone here to explain. When you wake up, there's footsteps walking closer, and then a familiar face appears. Iván is here, or someone that looks very much like her is. All she starts off with is two simple words— "You're dead." Which would seem obvious, but she explains that you have been before you ever arrived to the island. The shipwreck and the island are't real, after all. This is purgatory, and the Hunt is a way to judge the souls of the living. People show their true nature when they're put in a stressful situation, so it was deemed that this was the way that these judgements would be passed. She explains that you'll know your fate when the game ends, but if you really can't wait that long, you could always ask, but hope isn't lost. After all, the "killers" are on your side. If they can win the game, then everyone can come back to life. They know this, and it's why they're fighting so hard to win. It's a shame that the odds don't seem to be in their favor, but that's also part of the Hunt. — Exploring your new surroundings, you'll realize that you're likely at the bottom of that giant sinkhole, at least if that light far above you is any indication. You no longer feel the need to eat or sleep anymore (technically, you never did, but the habits of being alive are hard to break), so it's a good thing there's enough to do while the game continues. You can watch the proceedings of the Hunt in one room where there's plenty of comfortable couches to sit in and lounge, as well as a fully stocked bar, if you feel like indulging. Another room offers a game room with cards, billiards, and any other games you'd like to play in a group. If you ask your host nicely, she might provide more, but for now, there's not much to do other than to watch and wait for the Hunt to end.

Well, they have two .. if Rainsford is on Auger Garibaldi tonight and he gains confirmation on Tsurumaru Kuninaga the same night. They could lynch Gi-Ne tonight and lynched... my comrade the next day. That's only if they're thinking smart but there's also how the gunsmith plays tonight.. perhaps.

[ Though, he doesn't know how to feel hopeful about this, if the Generals do lose, it seems a majority of them are passing onto Heaven or Hell and Yamato didn't get a really good place. He shrugs to himself just a bit. ]

Them playing smart will doom us right?

Will it? I suppose it depends on how you see things. The only way for you all to come back to life is for the innocents to lose. However, if they win, it isn't as though you will cease to exist. Your soul will be judged and sent to the appropriate place...

[ Or so she's always been told. She doesn't know how much she does or doesn't trust that, these days. ]

[ Grabbing popcorn that is nearby and handing it to Shijima since this is an honorary thing, Yamato has always been hyped for death so he's giddy! Excited to see who's the next to go down. Popcorning always passed the time! ]

Hm! I was told by using the gun I was going to Hell, honestly I'm excited for it if that's true. [ Maybe that's a little too much but things seem a little hard for them now. ]

No matter what.. you have to keep playing this game right?

I don't know if a General win would free me or not. [ She hasn't seen it happen in a game she's played in. Usually, the village gets luckier...or has less tremendously bad luck, anyway. ]

I'm assuming it won't. Until I can steal the Overseer role and then get myself executed, this will be my life. [ ...She'll take some popcorn, sure. She doesn't seem to really mind his excitement for the upcoming execution. FEEL FREE TO BE HYPED, YAMATO. ]

It seems village is being smart this time around? It's saddening because we'll just rot and you'll have to suffer through this again. Ahh.. [ He's happy to see her take some popcorn, raising a hand to pat her head. ] It's really good so take as much as you like!

[ So it's Gi-Ne who has to go and she even befriended so many people.. how sad. ]

I'm really excited for this even though I need her group to win, I guess. But do you think Clarine.. [ What is her last name.. ] ..Rine... will kill her? She seems to be the sheltered type and was afraid of me but I think if it's for her friends, she'll do it? Maybe!

[ A pause.. ]

Don't get executed. Kiyomitsu would be sad.

I think she will. She's not so weak as to refuse.

[ Though refusing takes strength, sometimes. ]

Then I'll be proud, she does need to stay alive for Urashima Kotetsu and the people around her. [ He nods. ] It must hurt to kill someone you trust though.

[ Then again, he's killed many people in his life. ]

...Eh, does it? I wouldn't know.

[ she trusts kouichi, but she'd refused to kill him. ]

You know.. for a grandma cat, I thought you'd know everything.

[ Her age isn't helping her here is what he sees. ]

I've never killed anyone I trusted. For a very long time, I only trusted that idiot over there...

[ She's killed a lot, but whether it's more or less painful to kill someone she trusts...how should she know? ]

It's hard to kill a sort of person who doesn't exist much at all.

Hm, they don't exist if you don't allow them too. I think for you, you'd be the type who has a lot of people to trust you.

[ She seems the type, she really does from the fact of how she acts. Sly but able to be adored by others considering she doesn't have much of a care in the world. Normally they do care a lot. ]

It's just the position you've been placed in, that's why you can't trust others but the one you know best.
