graveyard.
![]() You remember dying. In fact, you remember the exact feeling and fear of how you died, and yet in the next moment, you're suddenly standing in a cold room. You're not sure how you got here at all, but it's as if you were suddenly put here the moment after you died. As you look around, the first thing you'll notice is that you're standing in front of an open casket. And you're inside. The corpse inside the casket is definitely you, and it's also definitely dead, which certainly makes this confusing. Luckily, here's someone here to explain. When you wake up, there's footsteps walking closer, and then a familiar face appears. Iván is here, or someone that looks very much like her is. All she starts off with is two simple words— "You're dead." Which would seem obvious, but she explains that you have been before you ever arrived to the island. The shipwreck and the island are't real, after all. This is purgatory, and the Hunt is a way to judge the souls of the living. People show their true nature when they're put in a stressful situation, so it was deemed that this was the way that these judgements would be passed. She explains that you'll know your fate when the game ends, but if you really can't wait that long, you could always ask, but hope isn't lost. After all, the "killers" are on your side. If they can win the game, then everyone can come back to life. They know this, and it's why they're fighting so hard to win. It's a shame that the odds don't seem to be in their favor, but that's also part of the Hunt. Exploring your new surroundings, you'll realize that you're likely at the bottom of that giant sinkhole, at least if that light far above you is any indication. You no longer feel the need to eat or sleep anymore (technically, you never did, but the habits of being alive are hard to break), so it's a good thing there's enough to do while the game continues. You can watch the proceedings of the Hunt in one room where there's plenty of comfortable couches to sit in and lounge, as well as a fully stocked bar, if you feel like indulging. Another room offers a game room with cards, billiards, and any other games you'd like to play in a group. If you ask your host nicely, she might provide more, but for now, there's not much to do other than to watch and wait for the Hunt to end. |

[ It's...probably clear why she couldn't really bring herself to give a fuck about the bodies, right...
though admittedly she was pretty desensitized even before this shit ]
Anyway, he'll be fine...although if he's the one handing out guns, he needs to be a bit more careful.

[Yeah, she knew that the whole time too BUT ROYCE DOESN'T OKAY someone has to feel sorry for Royce!!]
I really thought he was the gunsmith or whatever it's called, but now I'm not so sure. If he is, he doesn't make great picks, does he?

[ Max had a gun. ]
...It doesn't really matter either way. Eh...your compatriots probably want him dead regardless, right? I wonder who they'll pick tonight. How worrying that your two most sadistic members are still alive.

[But urgh Tsurumaru and Hijikata unsupervised... Gi-ne grimaces. Then a thought occurs to her. She crunches up her empty chip packet and throws it at Shijima's head.]
By the way, thanks for making me look like a total psycho! What the hell was that all about?
no subject
Eh? I may as well ask you why you killed Innocents. That is what Zaroff does.
[ ...ADMITTEDLY "MUTILATE THE BODIES" DOESN'T ALWAYS MEAN WHAT SHIJIMA TOOK IT TO MEAN BUT SHE'S NOT ENTIRELY SANE.......... ]

[Well, sort of.]
If we win, they all go home! And we tried to make it quick, but then you made it look like I turned Stocking into a garden decoration! [SULK SULK yeah she's just mad about the terrible PR.] I bet you were just mad because I beat you to her head.

It isn't my fault you didn't know how to use my actions to your advantage, you know. And what you guys did to them before I found the bodies hardly matters to me.
[ She might have been a little po'd about the head coming off before she could get to it actually LMAO...but it's impossible to tell that from her calm countenance right now. ]
For a group that's trying to win to save everyone, you throw away tactical advantages that could be exploited pretty easily...

Well, maybe. But we were really angry at you, and we were also worried about Ivan. If you'd succeeded in killing her and breaking our game, we'd all be screwed, right? So of course we had to stop you.
That said, Orion kind of ran off on his own for that one.

[ UNFORTUNATELY she did manage to get...4 other people? To vote for Ivan. But yeah she's never had luck there. ]
Anyway, it's pointless to discuss this. If Orion wanted to make things harder than they had to be rather than utilizing a resource, that's his problem - and yours, I suppose. This game no longer has anything to do with me.

[Ivan is the Generals' waifu.]
Hm. We were hoping we could help you somehow too though. Ivan said she gets to pass on if we win.

[ For one reason or another, she doesn't seem to want to discuss either of those topics...well, she goes through moods of talking to the others in the graveyard or clamming up about the games she's been through, though. ]
