ZAROFF While everyone else mills about, you go to the tunnel that only you know about. This is your safe spot to hide, since you know that The General can't touch you. The only way you'll lose is if you're executed, but that won't happen, will it? At the end of the tunnel, you'll find any weapon you can hope for, including a draught that will give you the supernatural abilities of any of the players. You're not here to kill, since only The General can do that, but if you can make them lose or turn on Ivan, then maybe you'll be free. [ That didn't take them overlong, did it? She's done it too many times before to count: wait for the Hunt to end, sniff out the body, and go to set things to rights. Or wrongs. The dead girl isn't someone Shijima had managed to speak to - not the bird, at least, so she'll have his company for however long he manages to stick around - but it wouldn't have mattered even if she had been. She kicks the body in the side, almost idly, and sighs. ]

That's what you get for investigating that brat's "death" so hard, you know. You made yourself a threat...well, you've probably realized that much by now.

[ She'd only taken one weapon out of her treasure trove, and she hefts it easily now. Far more easily than she should be able to do, as the smallest player on the island, but since she's not lost any of her powers Shijima's just as strong as ever. It's a sword. So many players have sword skills mentioned in their profiles, it's simply the easiest option for now. She can get more specific later on, when she has a better feel for who she can maybe try to sway against Ivan, and who she can't. For tonight, she's just going to try to cause as much chaos as possible.

It only takes her one swing to get the head off, though she's careful to try to follow the cut to the throat. She'll take time to disguise that with hacking, if need be. Is that enough? No, after the damn monster display the other day a slit throat wouldn't have been jarring enough (though she imagines there would be tears and drama). Cutting off the girl's head probably wasn't freaky enough, either. Only a few people had seemed to mistrust Ivan enough to consider voting for the Overseer.

What to do, what to do...ah.

Dropping the head off to the side and allowing it to roll, Shijima lifts the sword again, twirling it once. It's easy enough for someone with her strength to get off Ema's legs and arms. She's acting on whimsy more than anything else, and begins to sort out her masterpiece after that, tossing the sword aside to free up her hands. The torso stays where it is, and Shijima balances Ema's head upon it, prying the eyes open if they'd shut. There ought to be more than enough blood around to paint a largeish triangle around the torso and head, and then if she just places one limb going in each direction outside of it...

She has a really disturbing rendition of that annoying symbol. It's all done almost casually and without hesitation, and when she steps back to collect the sword, Shijima tilts her head to the side, considering. ]

...That ought to do it, I suppose.

[ Better clean up and get back to her hideout. And return her sword to its proper place. Maybe she can catch an actual nap before daybreak, too. ]

[ Well, well. How...irritating. ]

Aaa, and here I was hoping you'd lead the charge tomorrow...well, whatever. [ The hunt took off the head this time. Was that to help her out? Probably not...but how presumptuous of them to do encroach onto her territory. Shijima stands over Stocking's body, her arms crossed as the fingers of her right hand tap out an unknown tune on her other arm. ]

Let's see, let's see...little old me can't blame this on a gun, so I suppose we shall simply have to make you as confusing as possible so they focus on the other corpse.

[ Which means not copy-catting herself, not that she'd intended any such thing. Shijima had brought out a variety of knives in addition to the gun that evening, all secured on her person, and those should do the trick for now. It was time to set the scene. It never takes her that long to decide what to do. She always works on instinct and whimsy, if she doesn't have any other intent with the body. Which she doesn't, since she's already been a brat in Jason's general direction for the evening and she doesn't want to fuck that up by being a brat at the swords again.

So if she's just going for "confusing and horrifying as fuck" so their time is more spent on finding the culprit for the other one...

Shijima leaves the body for a minute or two, and comes back with a variety of sticks, as straight as she could find. She dumps them off to the side for the moment and gets down to business. Business in this case is getting Stocking's dress off enough so she can, you know, cut open the other girl's chest and carve out her heart. Because this is an entirely normal and logical course of action to take (...and a messy one, but she's a pro at cleaning up by now). We'll just put the heart over here by our sticks for now and then tug the dress back on. Wipe off enough of the blood with a rag to do the rest.

She tugs Stocking's head back over so that it lines up with her body (fanning the hair out so it looks like Stocking had just laid down), then goes to remove the other girl's shoes. And stockings. The shoes go back on, but the stockings are brought up top as Shijima ties them in a loose bow around the neck to cover the decapitation. It won't hide the cause of death, obviously, but she's just fucking around at this point.

Bols closed the eyes last time she did this, so she's just going to cut off Stocking's eyelids so that he can't ruin her latest attempt at horror, tossing those into her odds and ends pile of sticks and heart. After considering for a moment, she also cuts out the other girl's tongue. That also gets tossed into her growing pile of horrors. Though now that she has those...Shijima unceremoniously spears Stocking's heart with a stick, and arranges the other girl's hands on her chest so that it looks like she's holding the impromptu lollipop, near to her mouth.

She does the same with the tongue and the eyelids, and adds them to the bouquet. ...It's a pretty small bouquet, though. Okay, let's take off the shoes again. Cutting off the toes is laughably easy compared to her adventures yesterday and getting out the heart, and while she does have to go get two more sticks, she adds those to the bouquet, before putting Stocking's shoes back on her.

Sitting back on her heels, Shijima considers the image for half a second before flipping the knife in the air - catching it easily - and moving to make two more cuts. At the corners of Stocking's mouth, causing her to have a permanent smile in death, too wide and to her ears. Then just draw the Eye of Providence around each of Stocking's now permanently open eyes, and...ta-dah. Another murder scene touched up personally by Shijima Kurookano.

That seems to be enough effort, so Shijima gets to work on erasing any evidence of her ever being there. The clean up is a hassle, but important. ]

I wonder if this one will make any of them throw up...? That pointy-haired boy almost did last time...

[ Old asshole immortals have to find joy in the little things...she'll live in hope of getting a scene that right. For the time being, it's time to go. Later, Stocking. She'll pretend to mourn you in the morning. ]
