[He really, really doesn't. But... can he say for certain that he isn't capable? He wasn't sure back on the last island he was on, and certainly now... he's even less sure. To be told that they're dead, and the only way to come back to life is to kill someone-?

[And...he doesn't really want to accept that he's dead. Dying in battle would be one thing, he's always accepted that as a reality, but he has no recollection of such thing. This confuses him a lot.]
