This is the square where The General comes to decide what to do, and Ivan patiently sits on a bench, though she's as impassive as ever to what's going on. Each of you has your own foxhound who's barking happily to welcome you back. They'll help you find who you choose to hunt tonight. After all, you're saving them. You have a little while to discuss who you'll hunt tonight, but don't linger too long, since you only have until dawn. rulebook character statuses profiles All night votes will be due 8/18 by 5PM EST

[That was one hell of a trial. After several hours acting like she didn't want Shijima dead, Gi-ne's just relieved she can finally relax with the other Generals for a bit. She's lying on the ground where she woke up, staring at the sky and idly petting her excited foxhound.]

I can't believe the Fox got her right away!

And that the Fox came forward...we shall have to be careful now. If they find one of us...

Well, they can only check one person a night... Or even two nights, if they want more info. Maybe they won't get around to us before we catch them. We're all trustworthy looking people, right?

Thirty... one people left, right? Those odds are still pretty good, but we should hurry and try to talk to them. At least after that display we can probably rule a few people out. I really don't think it's Royce.

If it is Royce, I'm fucked... [Because after this day of BETRAYALS!!! she's pretty sure Royce would be going through a checklist of his "friends" and after Jason and Shijima she's probably up there.] Probably not Matt, unless it was a bluff... Maybe one of the quieter people...

Regardless, we cannot target Matt. I am certain he shall be protected tonight. [She sure hopes so, anyway. He deserves to be protected!!]

[Shijima sure did hell to their PR before going out! If only Ema and Stocking had been found just with their throats slit and their heads chopped off, they'd be plenty popular.]

Yeah, probably. To be honest, I don't really want to go after him right away even if he's not.

... Nor do I. I like him... but then, who shall we go after now? Fuuma and Kamui were...surprisingly helpful, though I do believe they are still dangerous.

But--we must prevent people from voting for Ivan most of all, correct?

Everyone is so depressed after today. [Losing Stocking and Shijima in one day.] It's dumb and unfair, but I don't want to go after someone... popular.

So let's focus on getting them to leave Ivan alone, yeah.

We've got to... somehow figure out who the roles are. The Rainsford, obviously, but more importantly we need to figure out who the real Fox is. I'm... I'm going to see if I can talk to Matt tonight. I know he trusts me, so... maybe I can try to be that person he mentioned as a failsafe. For if something happens to him, that people would use me instead.

That could work, but if Matt has the Fox check you just to be safe-

[And then Orion makes his little announcement.]

... Oh. I guess he can just say you're innocent.

Yeah. Orion having told Matt there were multiple Foxes helps us out here, because even if the real Fox talks to Matt -- or the other two -- it doesn't invalidate him. Until someone's voted for and it's obviously not going to be true.

I'm still worried, but... I don't know if there's much else we can do in that area.
