THE GENERAL night three Instead of waking up in the jungle, you wake up elsewhere. This is the square where The General comes to decide what to do, and Ivan patiently sits on a bench, though she's as impassive as ever to what's going on. Each of you has your own foxhound who's barking happily to welcome you back. They'll help you find who you choose to hunt tonight. After all, you're saving them. [Heh.] It'd be kind of nice to rub it in Shijima's face if we could bring her back to life like all the others. I want to do that.

They'll thank us eventually. [EVENTUALLY... MAYBE...] But I really would like to save Shijima too, if we can get her out of this mess. I feel kind of bad for her.

Me too. But I have to wonder about her motives. I mean, she became the way she was because her group voted out Ivan right? We know if that happened here, she would become the new Overseer - then what about all of us? What about her brother? Seems pretty twisted.

[Though he supposes that's how some old immortals are like. His kind live vastly long lifespans as well, but he never wants to become so jaded and self-centered.]

Mm. Even if she didn't care about her brother and the rest of us, I don't know why she'd want to be the Overseer anyway. Ivan doesn't seem any happier than the rest of us.
