night three - kill log.
Who: Killers and Orion
When: The third night
Where: The jungles of Ship-Trap Island
[ It's the dead of night in the jungle. Considering the Hunt, you have to wonder if you're actually safe out here, but it at least seems quiet. Maybe you could try getting some rest, or maybe you should keep watch. Either way, that quiet may not seem very comforting. ]

There's a smile on his features and then one always remembers, kindness is the greatest virtue of all. ]
Eh? I didn't know you were here too!

Not having a restful night? [He's spoken to this sword-man a couple times, mainly during the trials, but sees no reason to be comforted by his appearance.]

[ It's understandable to Yamato that some people won't sleep because of the fact The General could be about — waiting to strike. He only laughs only a little bit as he crosses his hands before him that hide in the sleeves on his haori. He does remember to keep his distance for he has no right to come any close unless invited. He is a good sword when it comes to things like this! ]
Something on your mind? Would you like to talk?
[ Easing into one's space isn't so hard to do, but it does seem to take time which Yamato has. ]

[Just to...clarify...]
I'm not tired of living. I'm tired of this bullshit game, but that's not enough to stop me from wanting to live. [He huffs.] Now what do you want? I'm not really in the mood to chat.

Then I'll help you, aren't I benevolent. If you're so tired, you have to go right? If we look at it like that.. I can help you. Don't you think to die by my hands would be nice, at least it's from someone you've at least spoken to.
[ A pause as he takes one step closer. ]
What do you think?
no subject
I think you're full of shit. I'm fed up with this game, but not enough to just roll over and die for the likes of you. If it's a kill you want, go elsewhere. If it's a fight, then get ready.
no subject
Ah? Do you think so? I don't think this is a game when it's a matter of life and death — you're the one who's tired and I'm going to help you rest. [ There's a pause as he looks off to the side to see if he really wants to leave but places his attention back on the other. ] A fight sounds better than anything. Running away is called cowardice. [ He quickly moves forward, arm placed against his chest in order to extend when he's close enough to slash at the front of his person. ]

When Yasusada moves forward, faster than Orion even expected, he jumps back to avoid the slash with a grunt. It ends up slicing through the front of his chest, a shallow cut made through his jacket and breaking the skin though not going much deeper.
Right after that though, Orion jumps toward the man with a howl. If he can get him down and pinned, the sword won't be as useful.]
no subject
Ah, you should let me stab you at least once. That isn't enough.
[ There's a small step back as he re-positions his blade to point forward. If he's meant to be pinned down, he doesn't mind forcing his vessel forward to stab the other through his body. Besides, he does have a secret weapon even if his blade becomes unusable. ]

Using his free hand to dig within the armor of his chest plate, he pulls out the gun from between them to point it towards the other and it's not hard to learn how to use it — pulling the trigger right at the other's heart. ]

It's those thoughts, perhaps, that distract him from noticing the gun that gets pulled out. And the only recognition of it is the sharp popping sound in the air and the sudden shock of agonizing pain that blooms in his chest. Like his whole body is collapsing at once.
He tries to scream, but the only thing that comes out is a choke and gagging sputter of blood, all landing on the man's face below him. The strength in his body is drained and the hands wrapped around Yamato's throat lose all power behind them. He tries not to collapse in spite of his injury...but that's just the foolish hope of a warrior sent to the grave.
It doesn't last more than a few seconds and he falls on top of Yamato entirely, the life drained out of him, his breath gone and body lifeless.]
