THE GENERAL night one Instead of waking up in the jungle, you wake up elsewhere. This is the square where The General comes to decide what to do, and Ivan patiently sits on a bench. Each of you has your own foxhound who's barking happily to welcome you. They'll help you find who you choose to hunt tonight. After all, you're saving them. You have a little while to discuss who you'll hunt tonight, but don't linger too long, since you only have until dawn. rulebook character statuses profiles All night votes will be due August 10th by 5PM EST

Alright... I don't know if we should spend all that much time together here. It's going to be suspicious if the others can't find us in the jungle, right? We've got to step back and look at all the information from the beginning.

We need to pick a person, and we need to pick a weapon. Obviously, whoever we pick shouldn't be someone that another person knows we intend to meet with tonight. Hazama's out because of that, since that lawyer, Matt, overheard that we intended to meet up later. If she turned up dead, everyone would immediately suspect me. So if there's anything like that, please say something.

Other than that... we've got to look at misdirecting the trial, too. It's going to be hard to find evidence in this jungle, so if we're going to kill someone and try to make it look like someone else, it's got to be contained within the body itself. So... I think the choice of weapon might be important. If we want to try to pin it on a sword-user, using a sword... could be too obvious. No one would want to use their preferred weapon to commit murder, right?

And lastly... we've got to do it. We've got to vote for someone tonight. I... don't really know how to go about picking someone, so if you have any ideas, I'm all ears.

As you said before as well, we must try to be consistent with our use of weapon, at least at first...we must continue this charade that there is only one General.

[A sigh, and she presses a hand to her forehead in exasperation and weariness.]

We must also be careful of the...other roles. The foxes and the Rainsford.

So we cannot choose anyone who would clearly be protected tonight.

Yeah, definitely. I know we keep talking about swords... but I just worry that's going to lead everyone in the opposite direction, since it'll be too obvious. I mean, if I knew how to use a sword, I'd want to use a different weapon so no one would suspect it's me, you know? Though... a lot of the sword users have other stuff listed, as well. That Pearl person has spears, and a lot of others have just "combat" listed.

But yeah, the foxes concern me. If any of us are investigated... we can't do much to defend them except to try to cast doubt on the fox. Rainsford isn't as much of a worry right now, since... it's almost a guarantee he or she will protect someone who was really active trying to solve what happened to Trancy. You, Hazama, Rena, Anarchy... anyone like that.

I talked to a lot of people, and I think with process of elimination, I might be able to figure out who the others are based on their profiles... maybe.

I have also spoken with a fair number of the people here, if only due to the fact that there is little point in remaining separate. We are already on a barbaric, classless island. [WINNING FRIENDS HERE, CLARINE]

I have spoken with Kashuu, Rei, Stocking, Lord Hector naturally...Orca and Rena and [here her lip curls] Prince Auger... Urashima, Yamato, Matt and Shijima. The others I do not believe I spoke with enough to be of note in the least.

Yeah, I've spoken with Hazama, Rena, Anarchy, Hakurei, Greed, Kotetsu, Kashuu, uh, Jason Todd, [which one's the last name there?? he's not sure,] Kurookano, Caulfield, Aizawa, Skye, Fuuma, Matt, and Anna.

[He lists them by going through the profiles, and just kind of... pauses at the end. Slow your roll, Hinata, that's so many people.]

...I guess it doesn't matter if it's anyone I've talked to, then.

You're right about Aizawa, though, but I mean... he's listed as having "ordinary human skills," but his age is all wrong for that to be it.
