the general - night one.
THE GENERAL night one ![]() Instead of waking up in the jungle, you wake up elsewhere. This is the square where The General comes to decide what to do, and Ivan patiently sits on a bench. Each of you has your own foxhound who's barking happily to welcome you. They'll help you find who you choose to hunt tonight. After all, you're saving them. You have a little while to discuss who you'll hunt tonight, but don't linger too long, since you only have until dawn. character statuses profiles All night votes will be due August 10th by 5PM EST |

[Wait, does that name sound familiar?? Nah, can't be.] Or any of those other guys that seem to think they're literal swords. No one who knows even elementary history would expect the Shinsengumi to betray each other in this situation... right?
[Right..... Hinata's kind of just guessing here. He's really not an expert on... anything, really.]

What's a Shinzenkumi?
[There might be a flaw in your logic, Hinata.]

Although, if anyone betrays the Shinsengumi they're forced to seppuku. We don't have tolerance for traitors, or spies. That's why I can't be find out.
[ Geez... This is going to be... Different. ]
I'm usually not questioned that much considering I'm the Vice-Captain, but the Shinsengumi will fight even their close friends if it's for the Shinsengumi.

You're not really betraying them, remember, you're helping them. So don't worry about sebbuku. But basically, they'll assume you're on their side but if you're found out, they'll turn on you? Or do you mean they'll help you even if you are found out...

I doubt they would help me, they'll probably want me dead. I can't be find out, but if there's that many swords on this island as everyone claims... Well, it shouldn't be that hard, right?
no subject
Well, you'll probably be killed if you're found out no matter what. [Trials...] Is your fighting style really recognisable, just by looking at the corpse?
no subject
[ Well, shit. ]
It doesn't mean I have to use it though. I can easily kill in one strike. Unless you want to do more?
no subject
[Just... chiming in a little quietly, here. You can ignore him.]
One strike is probably best...

Then... A beheading? [ Probably not the best idea to do anything that looks like a seppuku. ]
no subject
[He kind of looks like he might be sick at the thought.]
I-I was thinking, like... I don't know, stabbing someone right through the heart is instant death, right?
no subject
Well, it'll kill them, right? But that works too.
Didn't we say we aren't going to hesitate about this kind of stuff, hm?
no subject
If they're already dead, there's... there's no reason to make them suffer more, you know? I don't have the right to decide that kind of thing.
no subject
Yeah, yeah. I get it.
But a strike to the heart- I can't be careless about it. I have to make sure I'm close enough and precise.

[...] To be honest, in my current state, I'm not sure if I could kill someone with one strike. Not with a sword. I've only used knives and my ki before.
