THE GENERAL night one

Instead of waking up in the jungle, you wake up elsewhere. This is the square where The General comes to decide what to do, and Ivan patiently sits on a bench. Each of you has your own foxhound who's barking happily to welcome you. They'll help you find who you choose to hunt tonight.

After all, you're saving them.

You have a little while to discuss who you'll hunt tonight, but don't linger too long, since you only have until dawn.

So that's three swords...

Two sword users, three swords. Would that make sword usage too suspicious?

But there are way more sword users in the other group, isn't there? [They've only got two out dozens here.]

But that's up to you and Hijitaka, really. I don't know a lot about swords, besides the basics. [Stick 'em with the pointy end.]

Right, right. There's at least seven that I recognize. [ The more sword castmates, the more people to pin blame on. ]

Well, I have no preference on how we do this, so if Hijikata's fine with swords, then so am I. If keeping up the same type of weapon seems too complicated, then we could also use brute force...?

Either way, we should first decide on if we want to use a weapon or not.

Mm... is your method of swordfighting particularly recognizable...?

It may make the murder easier on you both as well... it would be bad if they were somehow able to get away.

Not really! Swords generally take after the fighting style of their masters, but I never had one for long enough to do that.

However, I'll say that the Shinsengumi swords, Yamato and Horikawa, do have distinct ways of fighting that they learned from their masters -- and Horikawa's master is none other than Hijikata, so.

[She really doesn't like the idea of trying to frame Yamato...... she doesn't know Horikawa, but it still seems underhanded.]

Perhaps... it may be too obvious if we cast that much doubt upon someone immediately...?

But they must also have information to discuss at the trial...

Oooh, I just do not know!
