the general - night four.
THE GENERAL night four ![]() Instead of waking up in the jungle, you wake up elsewhere. This is the square where The General comes to decide what to do, and Ivan patiently sits on a bench, though she's as impassive as ever to what's going on. Each of you has your own foxhound who's barking happily to welcome you back. They'll help you find who you choose to hunt tonight. After all, you're saving them. You have a little while to discuss who you'll hunt tonight, but don't linger too long, since you only have until dawn. character statuses profiles All night votes will be due 8/22 by 5PM EST |

Right... You're right... We are not going to lose.

[even if it feels EVEN MORE DAUNTING NOW.]
It...helps, I believe, that they do not know he i--was one of us.
For his sake, and his memory, let us keep it that way.

Urgh, this- it makes me so mad! Not even in trial, just in the middle of the night like that!

But then... something went very wrong, over the course of the night. I still do not understand what happened to him. Someone killed him, but...why?
[And there's that nagging thought in her head about what Hector said...that it looked like Orion was being the aggressor.]
no subject
[Paranoia in the dark, man.] But I really can't believe it was a coincidence.
no subject
[Yeah, she finds that hard to believe as well.]

Greed reacted just like Matt did. He's the one who's the easiest to guess from inference that he could have been told.

[Also it would hurt his chances of getting Daredevil-senpai's panties.]
I don't know if anyone's going to believe in bad luck, anymore. If we really want to try to preserve the lie that Orion's not one of us, then... I don't know if it's a good idea to kill any of them tonight.

Like, what would be the consequence if Orion were... discovered to be a general? Or do you think people would just assume he's a Foxhound?
[Petting his dog when she perks up at the mention of foxhound. Hi pup.]
no subject
If the Fox does not state the truth first.

[There's an idea... a dangerous idea...]
Though I guess if they find out it'll make the guy who shot him look good.
no subject
[God, this is so hard. Where are his classmates to support or deny his conclusions. He needs more dangans.]
I really don't think we should pretend to be the Fox, not after what happened to Orion.
no subject
Orion can't be hurt by a bad reputation now and none of us were known for being friends with him. [No guilt by association.] Hell, maybe thinking they got one of the big, bad "Foxhounds" will cheer everyone up a bit.
[Gi-ne, you're murdering them.]
no subject
[Even though it was really hard to pretend like they hadn't a connection to dear, sweet murderuncle.]
And who knows, Lightray might... take care of that for us.
no subject
[They're all good dogs best murderdogs]
... Ah, by the way! You talked to Matt then?
no subject
[Haha.]
He wouldn't tell me who the "Fox" was, which was fine, but he did feel comfortable enough to tell me that Orion spoke with him, Greed, and Fuuma at the same time. I haven't gotten that much more information from him, but I'm going to talk to him again tonight and see if there's anything else that's come up. Anyone who might have come forward to him.
More than anything... I want to make sure he knows I'm a good option for people to go to if something happens to him.
[Hinata's voice is going a little... weird... as he talks about this. A little monotone? It's very strange.]
no subject
[She... does pick up on that monotone.]
... Okay? You'll be careful, right? If you're too pushy about it, he might try to get the real Fox to check you out.
no subject
As far as he knows, I'm just a normal high school student.
...It's boring.
no subject
This is really concerning.]
... Well, boring can be better than exciting sometimes. [It's safer.] I think... you've been doing really well, Hinata! Everyone trusts you, it's great...
no subject
[ah, but if that happens, that'll be boring, too...]
We'll see what happens.
[Maybe leave him alone for a bit and see if he reboots? That might help.]
