the general - night one.
THE GENERAL night one ![]() Instead of waking up in the jungle, you wake up elsewhere. This is the square where The General comes to decide what to do, and Ivan patiently sits on a bench. Each of you has your own foxhound who's barking happily to welcome you. They'll help you find who you choose to hunt tonight. After all, you're saving them. You have a little while to discuss who you'll hunt tonight, but don't linger too long, since you only have until dawn. character statuses profiles All night votes will be due August 10th by 5PM EST |

[A beat]
Ah...! The sword spirits...! I suppose if we had a sword, we could make it look somewhat suspicious...
[sorry kashuu and yamato]

[She purses her lips, somewhat aggravated.]
I do not know how to do this without cassting doubts on us as well, but... I know we cannot leave it up to chance again.

What other ways are there to kill someone? Shooting them with something?

I suppose that is something else we must figure out.

[Turning and yelling at the group here.] Who here is armed? I've just got my body and my armour, what about you boys?

[Pretend to be surprised.]

But that's up to you and Hijitaka, really. I don't know a lot about swords, besides the basics. [Stick 'em with the pointy end.]

Well, I have no preference on how we do this, so if Hijikata's fine with swords, then so am I. If keeping up the same type of weapon seems too complicated, then we could also use brute force...?
Either way, we should first decide on if we want to use a weapon or not.

It may make the murder easier on you both as well... it would be bad if they were somehow able to get away.

However, I'll say that the Shinsengumi swords, Yamato and Horikawa, do have distinct ways of fighting that they learned from their masters -- and Horikawa's master is none other than Hijikata, so.

Perhaps... it may be too obvious if we cast that much doubt upon someone immediately...?
But they must also have information to discuss at the trial...
[...she stomps her foot after a moment]
Oooh, I just do not know!
